Animal Crossing 2 was a cancelled Animal Crossing game for the Nintendo GameCube. Only one screenshot of the game was released, and there are a few differences from Animal Crossing. The Bell Shrine, which was only present in the Japan-exclusive games Animal Forest and its remake Animal Forest+ appeared instead of the Wishing Well, Ace and Anicotti were shown having a picnic, and Anicotti was using the international laughing symbols. Many people believe Animal Crossing 2 was released as Animal Crossing: Wild World.
